What would our shared haven look like?
This project activates my year of postgraduate research, turning to Ukrainian folk art as a method of home-making in displacement and migration.
Through interactions with prompts, dialogue and textile collage, the participants were re-tracing their memories, symbols, and perceptions of home. Their individual reflections came together in a collective tapesty, mapping the 'safe havens' of 22 participants.
